I dined here on April 18th at 8:15pm. Our server was great and very attentive, no complaints about him. But my food was awful unfortunately. I originally ordered the chicken piccata pasta, but had to send it back because it was inedible. The pasta was completely drenched in grease, the chicken was flavorless, there was hardly any cheese on it, and there was no fettuccine sauce on top. There was also an unidentified small object that might've been a piece of plastic in the pasta dish. After sending that back, I decided to ord... read more
They're not very welcoming to families, which was really disappointing. I've been before for brunch and wanted to show it to my family and they told us pretty curtly that they would not be available to us at any time before the later evening, even though I was emailing them two weeks in advance to place the reservation. This was after their website told me to call the restaurant and the hostess told me I would have to submit my request in an email, not via the phone.
Business response:
Hello, it would be helpful to speak with you about this. For larger parties, our policy is to submit a request under private dining on our website. Please contact us at info@tedsbulletin.com so we can receive more information.
There's a mechanized soullessness to Washington, a culture that treats people like interchangeable cogs in a wheel, and this place, with its zero personality decor , cold servers and efficient but ultimately tasteless food symbolizes that.

Main reason I won't be back was that waiter practically pointed to the 20% tip as he was lording over my shoulder as I was checking out. He had also just scrolled through all the chargers naming each of the meal items, but conveniently didn't mention that there already was a 5% service fee. Really shady. But food was mediocre. The vegan in our party had very few options (although at least they were labeled). And server was a bit beyond the reasonable in pushing appetizers, drinks and desert. I just want a chill lunch, ... read more

Bar service was horrible. Two bartenders working on a Thursday night seemed overwhelmed and were very unpleasant. The restaurant was not over busy, they just seem unprepared. Food was fine, but service is paramount. You should pass on this place. I sure will.

I've only rated Ted 1star because the site doesn't allow a person to leave a review with ZERO stars. I ordered chicken and waffles with the butter and drizzle on the side . My waffle came out with the drizzle and butter on top . I asked for my waitress to send it back which she did . When my food returned I begin to eat my waffle had a strong taste of hot honey I turned my waffle over and it was pool of hot honey . I could not believe instead of remaking my food they turned the waffle over and served it to me . The type of ... read more

I always get a Benedict when I go to breakfast spot. This was on me for not reading too intently but this was a disgusting choice. I thought it would come with a side of tater tots, but instead of an English muffin, the poached egg is on top of a gargantuan tater tot. Which was absolutely disgusting and did not mix well with the dish. Avoid this. Service was quick and ambiance was a regular diner.
Business response:

The food was not what was advertised in the pictures online nor was it good. The service was good though. The coffee was terrible. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice though I will give it that. The espresso was disgusting. The espresso tasted like the machine was dirty. Very good place to have a business meeting because of the professionalism and aesthetic, but just don't order the food and you're good. The food was so bad and I was so unsatisfied that I took two bites and immediately paid my bill and left. I didn'... read more

The reason for the 2 stars is that the food was actually pretty good. I enjoyed all of my food and the portion sizes were good for the money. The service however was maybe the worst I've experienced. While the front desk people were nice and helpful, but our waitress was rude, never helped us, never brought over water, and never said thank you. It felt like it was a chore for us to ask for anything and when we did ask it felt like it was burdening her. She continuously made our experience terrible since we sat down until w... read more
