Some of the most atrocious customer service I've ever experienced. This establishment is not ADA compliant. They simply would not seat me, despite my reservation, due to my psychiatric service animal. They kept giving tables to other groups while telling me they would seat me there if I didn't have a dog. Each time, my insistence that he has trained to lay under any table fell on deaf ears. My family and I will never be returning here. I think we will do just fine without their $30 waffles.

Hello, I frequent Ted's at NOMA on the regular, and the food has always been great. Not this time, we ordered 2 french toasts on 6/29 around 11:00 am. The french toast was extremely dry, the hash brown recipe must have changed. It was as if they were not potatoes at all and the portion size shrunk. I am not going to give up on Ted's, I guess we are all entitled to a bad day. This was a takeout order.
Ordered the grilled chicken club........very disappointing as it was mostly bread ( very skimpy amount of chicken and vegetables, was like a bread sandwich). $20 for this is a joke. Never was offered ice tea refills from server and some items we ordered on the side (e.g. sour cream, tomatoes) never came.

I dined here on April 18th at 8:15pm. Our server was great and very attentive, no complaints about him. But my food was awful unfortunately. I originally ordered the chicken piccata pasta, but had to send it back because it was inedible. The pasta was completely drenched in grease, the chicken was flavorless, there was hardly any cheese on it, and there was no fettuccine sauce on top. They're not very welcoming to families, which was really disappointing. I've been before for brunch and wanted to show it to my family and they told us pretty curtly that they would not be available to us at any time before the later evening, even though I was emailing them two weeks in advance to place the reservation. This was after their website told me to call the restaurant and the hostess told me I would have to submit my request in an email, not via the phone.

There's a mechanized soullessness to Washington, a culture that treats people like interchangeable cogs in a wheel, and this place, with its zero personality decor , cold servers and efficient but ultimately tasteless food symbolizes that.

Main reason I won't be back was that waiter practically pointed to the 20% tip as he was lording over my shoulder as I was checking out. He had also just scrolled through all the chargers naming each of the meal items, but conveniently didn't mention that there already was a 5% service fee. Really shady. But food was mediocre.
