If you are seated in the hallway and not in one of the main dining rooms it takes away from the beautiful atmosphere they have in the restaurant. Also the wine pairings were ridiculously priced even for Valentines Day.

Went to Terra Terrioir on Valentines day with my wife. We sat on their covered heated patio. It was a true gem with water feature and french inspired paintings, columns, etc. The decor was really cool. There was some confusion as to who our server was so we had a bit of a delay, but that was fine as it was a night away from the kids. We had sea bass, filet, she crab soup, goat cheese apple salad, for our entrees. All were excellent. portions were smallish but that is a positive. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake and... read more

I have been to Terra Terroir several times and always had great food and great service. They let me down on this visit. My bofriend and I chose this spot for our early Valentine's dinner since he had never been. I set the bar pretty high and we were both disappointed with the food and the service. Our fried green tomatoes appetizer was cold and limp. The Gingered Butternut Squash soup was as delicious as ever, perfectly spiced with pumpkin seeds and creme fraich on top to give it a rich, creamy consistency. It is just perfec... read more

Arriving at 5:45P my wife and I celebrated Valentines a day early to avoid the crowd. We really enjoyed the salmon dish and the shrimp & grits. wines and desserts were excellent. The only problem was the noise; background music was too loud even after we asked for it to be turned down. Hard surfaces in the inside restaurant amplified other tables' conversations. This combination made it difficult for me, as a hearing impaired person, to carry on a conversation.

I love this neighborhood restaurant but this visit was different due to the waiter. He was borderline rude. He rushed our group of 6. He made comments about coming back to take the order twice just because one person was a bit undecided. When asked for a separate check by one as she wanted to cover a special guest, he told her that another person at the end said one check was fine. Quite frankly he was not accommodating . It was the first time I felt uncomfortable bc it was my recommendation. He may have lost the business of... read more

The main entrees are the very best. We had the sea bass and the short ribs. excellent. the cauliflower side was disappointing and the artichoke tasted simply boiled - not grilled nearly enough. we tried three red wines and honestly were not happy with any of them. we would need to spend some time at the bar discovering a good pairing. otherwise, really delicious on the main courses!

Food was very good. Meat/cheese plate was exceptional, except for being very skimpy on bread/crackers. Wine was exceptional (but that is expected in the $50+ range). Only downside is that for $150+ (for two), I've had better experiences at numerous restaurants. The a wine-focused restaurants, none of the red-zins on the list were available, and the server was unaware until after we ordered. After ordering dessert, he once again returned to inform us that they were out of the Creme du Pot as well. (The Creme Brulee was good, ... read more

We had a group of six. Everyone was extremely pleased with the ambience, the food and the service. The beef wellington and crab cakes were fabulous. They have an affordable wine list and the sommelier was very helpful in the pairings. The new bar area was also a hit before dinner.

We've eaten at this restaurant numerous times. The restaurant is fabulous and has great wine. But don't let the location fool you (it's in a "strip mall"). All the other great places to eat in this area stand out in very prominent locations. No matter where this restaurant sits, I would go. The outside area is beautiful and even enjoyable in the winter. The sommelier is knowledgeable and the food is good but not too extravagant that you feel cheated on portions. But you wont feel cheated on taste! I will note that we have on... read more
