We enjoyed the experience and the wine list and bartenders knowledge of the wines was great. The food was good. The service was not up to par with what it needed to be. On two occasions our server walked by, once noticing our wine hadn't arrived and once our food, and he stopped and said "oh, you don't have your wine/food." Isn't he supposed to keep on top of that? My fish was very good, however, my husbands meatloaf dish was not very good. We had a very nice evening with friends and loved being OUTSIDE. We didn't like the ambience INSIDE very much. Our server was fantastic, very good and very friendly and personable!
The patio is a small oasis in the city, a quiet place to enjoy a glass of wine with good friends.
Always loved what David does with his personal service and welcoming smile and hand shake since the beginning. I have come here for years and years - in fact, the week the opened. He has done such a beautiful job with the back patio area that it transforms you to another place and time... The food is solid with new additions but the mainstays are still there for those of us that love them.... With some constant tweaking, they have maintained a Great Place to dine and enjoy!
We attended as a group. Very good service, great food and all lovely. Friendly staff. The Pate was fantastic. It seemed everyone enjoyed their meal.
It is rare in this day & time to have the owner of a restaurant greet every guest. This eclectic little spot is very unassuming, especially being in a shopping center that has experienced numerous retail failures. The design is unique with a front dining area that allows patrons to see the chef prepare food with an open kitchen design. Went on a Monday. We both really liked the crispy brussel sprout appetizer. The bison meatloaf was tasty as was the lamb - but nothing overly remarkable about the meals. Staff were friendly but service was a bit sluggish. It was a special occasion and I had to drive across town. Not worth the drive for me but I'd recommend to someone closer. Good menu and nice atmosphere on the back patio. Safe bet.
Wife and I dined on the lovely oasis of a patio and had a delightful meal. Food was very good, as always. Please don't tell your friends about this little treasure.
The staff were all incredibly friendly, our waiter was outstanding and the food was delicious!
