Enjoyed a pleasant meal at Thai Square, but the surroundings really lacked imagination. Not somewhere i shall visit again.
Thai Sqaure on Shaftesbury is excellent. The chef actaully makes it spicy, when it is requested. The flavours are fresh and alive and the service is quite attentive.
Thai Square Covent Garden-We requested fast service and the waitresses were very helpful. Food on the silver menu was good, though not excellent. Service was excellent with smiles and courtesy. Would go back again.
Good service in a good looking restaurant. The food was well presented but looked better than it tasted, not bad by any means but not exciting . Only 2 wines under £25 although food competively priced. Ok for quick pre theatre meal but won't rush back.
Thai Square - Covent Garden is a great place to go for dinner. Nice and spacious - I think we had just enough of those broom cupboard style restaurants - great food, pleasant and efficient staff. Highly recommended.
Despite excellent reviews seen for Thai Square - Covent Garden I wasn't completely satisfied about it. The food was good, but the portions for the starters of the set menus were very poor. The service was not great: they weren't even bothered we booked through Top Table and during the dinner seemed they were ignoring us and not taking extra care even if the restaurant was not busy at all. For the price charged I guess they should improve this. The venue wasn't so that special either.
Service was slow and not particularly attentive, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. Food was just okay, some meat dishes being particularly fatty, lamb especially so.
I went to Thai Square Covent Garden with a couple of friends for a quiet catch up between Christmas and New Year. The restaurant here is very well presented with great decoration and good facilities, and the food was excellent value for money as usual at Thai Square. Service was good, if not the most attentive especially when it got busier later in the evening. The ambience was added to by the playerless piano tinkling away in the background. A good evening.
Thai Square in Covent Garden was a nice venue for a pre theatre meal and overall was good value. However, the food when served was not very warm and had been standing around for some time, which was a pity. We also did not get to eat our desserts as we were running short of time - unusually, as previous experience of Thai Squares has been very fast service turnaround. Nice touch was the automatic piano which played itself. Good on the whole but could have been better.
