Thai Square Islington attracts local residents and businesses alike. With its flawless service, thoughtfully curated and excellent restaurant deals, it’s one of London’s best Thai restaurants and a staple on the Upper Street restaurant scene. The restaurant provides an excellent early bird menu, lunch set menu, and a happy hour special on cocktails, which we believe is one of the best restaurant deals in London.

Thai Square Islington has been a fairly regular haunt of mine since being introduced to it a few years ago and I have always enjoyed the entire dining experience there. This was slightly tarnished by a recent visit admittedly over the valentines day weekend so this may have affected the experience. First of all our booking taken and confirmed suddenly went missing and we were then told we had 90mins to eat! lol This hopefully was a one off and the food was quite good.
As with other Thai Squares I've tried, this one didn't let us down. Food was very good and very reasonable (mains about £7,£8) and service was good and quick (which is good if you're in a hurry). I will add this into my list of regulars.
For a Friday night at Thai Square in Islington, the restaurant wasn't too busy. Service was quick and efficient. Food was delicious and well priced. Wine was tasty too, although i'll still never understand why i was asked if i'd like to try the screw-top wine before both our glasses were filled. The sticky rice was great as always, but i feel the portion is always a little too small compared to the other rice dishes.
Angel was the second Thai Square I'd visited, and I was expecting a reliable decent meal. Perhaps we were lucky with what we ordered, but the food was absolutely fantastic, far better than I had remembered it! We had a large spicy seafood soup to share as a starter, which was delicious, followed by some chicken dishes, rice, veg, etc, all of which were perfectly prepared - with that sort of 'clean' tastiness that sets Thai food apart from some other Asian cuisines. Highly recommended!
I ahve been to this restaurant a few times and I knew what to expect. The food is Thai food and as I thai food lover I found it faultless. The restaurant is situated in a lovely area. It's not the sort of place to go to for a quiet dinner as it was slightly noisy however I would still recommend going.
Thai Square in Islington, London was a good restaurant with fast service and courteous staff. The menu choices were fairly broad - we would definitely recommend returning here again!
Food was pretty good, very nicely presented, with plenty of good options and a nice mixture of flavours. It's not the best Thai place in London by a stretch, but it's ambience and decor are well worth checking out if you are in the area and are up for a tasty jungle curry, fishcakes or pad thai.
The food on offer at Thai Square is very good, but a smidge over-priced. The restaurant has the feel of a bit of a fast-food restaurant and it felt like our waitress was very keen to get us out. However, definitely worth a visit and we had an enjoyable time. Decor leaves a little to be desired.
Thai Square Islington has proved again to be very reliable in terms of the food, tasty and generally well executed. It's not knockout amazing but a good place for casual meal. Service could be better though- they weren't very smiley... Decent value and the surroundings were ok.
