Been here before, good food, never disappointing. However, there were only 2 of us, and we only ordered a main each. We declined crackers, starters, and drinks. The service kinda dipped at that point, and there was a bit of an attitude in the waitresses (the place was busy, and we weren't going to rack up a big bill). So a little annoyed. But the food was great. Interestingly, pad thai is tofu by default (with an option to have shrimp), but no chicken pad thai on the menu...
I often have lunch at this restaurant but for a change had dinner. The food and service was impeccable as always. However, being in the evening we had red wine and the price for the bottle was somewhat extortionate, I think they need to lower their prices.
Good Quality Meal. We were 7 of us who went for a team lunch. All the team members including 2 of them who are veggies liked the food. We plan to visit Thai Square again.
Really authentic thai cuisine and staff. Food really tasty. I particularily like this venue as it is fairly big so you don't feel like you are sat on-top of each other when it's busy. Also when you are short of time i.e lunch break or theatre perhaps - the food is delivered promptly. Their cocktails are phenomenal, rivalling any cocktail bar in terms of strength and size which is always a positive.
The Thai Square Mansion House it's a very specious and beautiful restaurant. My group has been seated right away as we had only an hour to spare for the lunch. The drink and food order has been taken pretty quickly. The food we order from the lunch menu was absolutely delicious and portions were massive! Overall this was a great experience. However, I believe there is a room for improvement as the service could be more friendly.
I've been to Thai Square Mansion House a number of times for lunch and have always enjoyed it. It's a busy restaurant so there is a good 'buzz' and the service is usually efficient. We shared the mixed starter and salt and pepper squid, all of which were very tasty, and I ordered one of my favourite dishes, prawn pad thai as a main course. Great place for a business lunch in the city, and good value too.
This is well located and tucked away in a side road near Mansion house. The restaurant is calm and quiet so it makes for a good quiet dinner. The staff are attentative and the menu is well varied. Thai food cooked to a good standard and tastes good!
Functional, Thai place - good food and quick service. I like it.
I'm happy to eat at Thai Square at the drop of a hat and usually can't fault the service - it was a little slow this week. We had to ask for service. Normally, I can be back at my desk within the hour but not so this time. Having said that ... it won't stop me going back.
