This was my second visit to Thai Square and on both occasions the staff were very pleasant and the service quick without compromising on the quality of the food which makes T.S. an ideal choice for lunchtime dining. Always good service and food. Restaurant slightly too large for the number of clientele but always good fun.
The service here is attentive but not overly so. We both enjoyed our food very much and the alcohol free cocktail was surprisingly nice. On this particular visit, it was quite full but not as noisy as I have known it, so it was great to be able to chat properly over the meal.
The three of us ordered Gold menu but only 2 courses. The waiters supplied 3 courses (ice cream dessert) so they could charge us more. we did not want to cause a scene but felt we had been conned. The starter and main course were really good and i would recommend this restaurant - just be careful about the over-charging, which is a disappointment.
Had a pleasant meal at Thai Square on Friday. Wasn't over busy and was easy to get a table, even on a Friday night. Was nice food and we had a range of dim sum to start and noodle based dishes for main, including a Pad Thai. The portion sizes were large and fair given the price, would happily go back again for a casual, reasonable meal.
I had the soft Shell crab and one of the red curries here. Both were very tasty and well cooked.
This is a staple for us - great green curry and other bits. good service and always quick and good. there are few dotted around the city to choose from.
Always have a lovely meal here. The service is second to none. The food is hot and tasty and suits anyones palette. Even those that are fussy. Only downside is that its slightly noisy as its so popular. I go here with people I work with
We went on a Tuesday evening which was relatively quiet, with a bigger group this suited us as did the set menu which was maybe not the most exciting options available, but again worked well for a group having a reasonable amount of variety. Overall I would consider this a decent venue if you're in the area.
