I was very disappointed with Thai Square Minories. The service was awful and the food worse. We sat at the table for ages until a very rushed manager came by to take our order. No one came to see how we were doing or if we needed a second round of drinks or water. The green curry was watery with no flavor. Very surprising.

They took our booking for 9.00pm last night, then when we turned up at 8.55 we were told the kitchen was closing at 9.00pm, so we were turned away, front of desk was very abrupt and not interested in resolving it despite having taken the booking, won’t be going back there anytime soon!!
Quite empty restaurant during a quite Monday in the city. Service was efficient , obviously not something to remember and the food was good apart the starters that were not great. Zero interactions from staff, the feeling was “ just eat and go”…… There are better place in London to have an experience and not only calories for the body….

Rude rude and rude! They wanted to change my reservation to an hour earlier on Christmas Eve and the called me 2 days before. I was going there for holidays since I don’t live in London. I arrived a bit late and called them to let them know the woman replied it’s too late don’t come!!! This is the worst Thai Square we have been too … We have dined in the Trafalgar Square branch on many occasions and the food and service is absolutely amazing this was the first time we dined in Minories. Not authentic Thai we have had better take outs from just eat. The WORST Thai Square branch I have been to! The food was extremely terrible and not authentic at all. Service was also poor. I have tried a few Thai Square branches, and have always enjoyed their food, but dining at this branch has made me never want to eat at Thai Square ever again! Utterly disappointed! Avoid this branch at all cost!
Everything is small portion. I ordered tamarind duck and got only 5 very small pieces of duck for £16. It doesn't even come with rice. Only 4 pieces of prawns for £8 prawn starter.
