The Thai Square at Putney Bridge Four of us visited the restaurant on a wet Monday September evening. The restaurant is in a lovely location with great views over the river. Firstly we were surprised at how busy the place was. Saying this we found we had about 3 waitresses on hand as soon as we sat down. The service was very efficient, and the food was good modern Thai food. I would recommend the restaurant. A good ambience, lovely decor, good food, attentive service and value for money.
Thai square - great food/service, would go again.
Thai Square is a really funky restaurant - love the riverside location. Service was excellent & staff were knowledgeable. The food was all very fresh tasting & well-presented. Good selection of authentic yet contemporary thai food. Chicken with papaya salad was yummy- sweet yet spicy! Slightly on the pricey side but well worth it.
Thai square food was excellent and in fact my favourite Thai restuarant. However the soup portion were ridiculously small last night especially when you're paying approx £6 for a soup. It was verging on embarrasing although the waitress didn't seem that bothered. Hoping this is just a blip in their usual excellent food and service.
The Thai square in Putney is a lovely venue. I had a small reunion there last night. The ambience is adorable. The food was okay to good. I didn't particularly enjoy my main but my friends all very much liked theirs. Their selection of icecreams for desert were FAB! The pistachio and white chocolate being our most favourite. Would i recommend? Yes, I probably would. It was a little expensive in my view - I would have liked a bit more icecream for my money! However - do go. The setting is fab x
Nice restaurant and setting. Good menu
I took my partner to the Thai Square in Putney On 25th August 08 for a Birthday dinner. Its the 2nd time I have been and I can say this time was a fantastic as the 1st! The service is great, likewise the food, the service... When booking on top table I also requested that a dessert be brought out with a candle as a surprise for my partner; the waitresses did not need reminding of this and a fantatic dessert was produced with 6 waitresses singing Happy Birthday.... a fantastic night!!
Thai Square was a wonderful experience, the food was some of the best Thai food I've ever tasted and the service was excellent. Definately will be revisiting.
