Went to Thai Square, South Kensington for a pre-Royal Albert Hall meal. We were seated downstairs which was very cramped and were almost intruding on our fellow diners to our left and right.Due to the cramped nature of downstairs, there wasn't much in the way of decor either. Our main course arrived late and we didn't have time to finish it all otherwise we would have missed our show. The food did taste good though. Thai Sq is good for a pre-theatre meal given location, but not otherwise.
Thai share in south Kensington was excellent. Great food and good value for money.
Thai Square - Exhibition Road, London. Good value for money. The menu was quite varied and the dishes were well presented and for the most part generous (though the duck curry was meagre). Good lunchbox offers as well. Service was efficient and friendly. Not much space between the tables or to stand if waiting for a table. No heating in the toilets.
My phad Thai was outstanding. They used very large prawns instead of tiny shrimps, and loads of egg which I love. So reasonable and great on a Sunday evening when not so busy.
Thai food Exhibition Square, food was very nice but not as hot as I like, also was served in cold serving dishes so food did not stay hot long enough. Service was pretty awful although the staff were nice, just not very good.
Thai Square is always a decent choice for a good Thai meal. Haven't been dissapointed at any of their restaurants. The food at the South Kensington branch is as good as the others, however, the atmosphere and decor are lacking, especially when compared to Putney. Still, always good for a pre-RAH meal!
Thai Square South Kensington Thai Square is very handy for the tube and the museums, yet small and quiet enough to have a conversation. We arrived as it opened at 12 noon. By the time we left it was full, both upstairs and down. Lunch set menu at just under £9 was excellent value with good range of flavours. Very small but well designed; toilet is upstairs and very compact! Would go again!
We went to the Thai Square in Kensington before heading to the Natural History museum Night event. Food was excellent and service as reliable as ever. Would go back if in the area again.
good, quick service - small spaces between tables. Food is pretty authentic with good portions.
