I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and the food had always been great. I was very disappointed this time as I felt the food had definitely declined in standard. I doubt I will go again!! Having said this the staff were excellent :-)
The service was very slow and our food was cold when it finally arrived.

food was good service was charming, ambience at the back a bit too canteen like although not by any means uncomfortable. Would go back as food was good.
Booked table for 5.30pm due to a theatre show at 7.30pm. Had to knock on the door for the 2 staff who had just sat down to eat their dinner to let us in. They were convinced we hadn't booked a table, which we had. She proceeded to tell me that they had just sat down to have their dinner but could go in as it was cold outside. When I arrived they didnt have my reservation in the book and they wanted to see my reservation confirmation email even though the restaurant was nearly empty. They then wanted to know if I was ordering off the menu or the pre-theatre offer before they would give me a table.I got the impression they seat you at the nicer tables if you are on the main menu. Wine by the glass is over-priced but the food is consistently nice.
Nice restaurant, good food however overcharging a bit. We asked to change from beef to seafood in one noodle dish as my friend only eats halal, and they charge £5 extra.
Great service, really quick when we turned up late for our pre theatre meal. I would definately recommend the lamb massaman - yummy!
Great food, swift service, and good value for money. Would definitely return.
