Thai Square in the Strand is always reliable. Fast service and consistant food. Had to remind them a few times about remembering the sides and drinks on time, but the quality of food made up for it.
Lovely food, served quickly for a pre theatre meal. A short walk from theatres on the Strand, next to Somerset House. Great choice on the menu, including vegetarians.
I went toThai Square before the theatre with my daughter. It was in the perfect location and we love Thai food. They advertise a pre-theatre menu in the window but do not give you any details when you sit down. I asked and was told we had to show your theatre tickets. We had a look at the menu but went for the other special menu and started with a platter of five or six mixed starters but the only one that was good was the chicken satay and that was a bit dry. I have been to Thai Square several times and it never lets me down. The food is amazing and the service very good. I would highly recommend it.

Probably the smallest main course I have ever received at a Thai restaurant! Which wasn't reflected in the prices either. Not much atmosphere.
I discovered for the first time that my prawn toast and prawn wontons contains chicken!! We were a group of 4 and had a large platter starter to share, it was very tasty (what I could eat of it) but I was very disappointed when I discovered that the majority of the platter was off limits to me and one of my friends. I am a pescatarian (a vegetarian that eats fish) and my friend couldn't eat seafood. We particulary chose this restaurant as it was very close to the Savoy Theatre, where we were going after our meal. It was recommended by the Savoy Theatre website and said "on showing your tickets for the show you will receive a 20% discount". Beware....this offer was not valid at Thai Square when we asked for it in January. The restaurant manager said that the offer had stopped at end of December, so we were very disappointed not to get the discount!
