I have previously visited the Thai Square and to be honest it never dissapoints.
Thai Square's pre-theatre menu has become a favourite for and our latest visit was especially gratifying as we had two family guests from North Wales, who thought the food was wonderful. Being a Saturday, with tourists milling about, it was full by the time we began our main dishes so we were glad we had reserved. The free ice cream with the bill was an extra nice touch, especially as I ate my sister-in-law's portion.
I do like a good Thai Square on occasion; they are always solid performers. However I note this one off Trafalgar Square is pricier than others - perhaps to take advantage of the passing tourism trade? The lack of prawn crackers also grated - why?
The Thai Square is always a good choice. The last time I went the service was a bit slow but from my experience that has been a one off

Very good value and excellent food
thai square, is a very classy,value for money restaurant. this is the second year in a row, of holding my birthday dinner there. the staff are excellent, and punctual, polite and friendly, the portion sizes are extreamly generous, and the set meals have a wonderful combination of dishes which satifies every medical students stomachs. the restaurant is very relaible when you make a booking and there are no hidden charges and costs.i will definately be having my next birthday dinner here yet again
We enjoyed our pre-theatre meal at Thai Square. My 'Golden Curry' was very tasty, if a little too salty for my liking, and my husband's gree thai curry was excellent. Service was quick and cheerful, and pricing reasonable for the food delivered. I was glad to avoid the dancing and dragon show - on previous visits that has proved too much of an interruption! The tourists falling in from Trafalgar Square love that kind of thing I'm sure, but we found it distracted from the food.
The food is always good at thai square. Ther service was speedy and our waitress was a little mechanical and cold in her welcome and serving us. We loved the food but thought the service could have been more caring and thoughtful.
