This Thai Square in Trafalagur Square in the heart of London town is always buzzing, the food is fab and the service is speedy and friendly. The green thai curry is out of this work and the spring roll starters are delicious. We always go back for more!
We went there for Valentine ’s Day which also was our 10th Anniversary. My wife is normally very picky about what she eats so chose Thai because I know she likes it. The menu was fixed and had no other choice. The food was as good as many of the other Thai restaurants we go to but without the price tag attached. Overall it was very pleasant evening but did think a greater choice and larger portion size wouldn’t have gone a miss.
With a setback at the start with the wrong time booked for a party of 8, the restaurant quickly accomodated us. We chose a set menu for about £25pp which saw more food than possible to eat. The service was fantastic and all people would go back again despite the mix up.
Thai Square Trafalgar Square was a lovely evening. We weren't rushed, the food was good and the atmosphere good, too.
We ate at Thai Square in Trafalgar Square as a group of 6 and had much the same experience as we did at Thai Square in Putney. The decor and setting are theatrically Thai, but the food was mass catering at bespoke prices. I had some lukewarm phad thai noodles with 1.5 large prawns on top for £10.50. Eats-like-a-bird-husband had half my noodles as his lukewarm Thai curry was too small. It was a great venue for a fairly large group at the last minute in central London, but I won't rush back.
Thai Square is a perfect place to start an evening in the West End. The food is good rather than amazing, but the atmosphere and service are very serene and relaxing. I've been back a number of times now.
First time at a Thai Square, very impressive decor and table setting. Very firendly staff, tho not very attentive (bit slow to order food once ordered drinks). Lots of menu choice. Tasty prawn satay, fish cakes ok, Jungle Curry not hot enough, Monkfish Green Thai curry had odd flavours not like ones I've had before (not a good thing). Good desserts tho tad expensive, and best white wine ever had. Mixed bag really. My friend will definetly go again, I may not, but advise to give it a try.
Went to Thai Square on Saturday night. We had a lovely evening - the staff did not hurry us & we were there until nearly midnight; the food was very good & they didn't mind us asking for one dish to be made less hot than advertised in the menu. I would defintiely go again!
Thai Square was a 'best of what's around' option for a large family gathering but it ended up being a rather inspired choice. The staff provided a large table in the rear of the restaurant, where we could be loud and boisterous without disturbing other patrons. They were very patient about our orders and provided the entrees efficiently and cordially. The food was good - perhaps not amazing - but perfectly acceptable for the purpose it was selected.
