Do not hire the Bath Authority to re do your bathrooms! We had 2 walk in showers done and they were horrible! In the one shower, the floor was not leveled and there was standing water at the one end. In both showers they installed a regular round drain then put this oblong decorative piece on top that would drain the water...after a couple of weeks that top "drain" came loose in both showers so you were sliding on it when you took a shower. I hate to write this but we have given them every oppourtunity to correct the issues. My parents had their bathroom re-done and once they showed up with the tub it was so small it was not usable so we ask that it be removed from the job. What didn't happen was a converstion about a new price without the tub since there was going to be less plumbing work as well as the cost of the tub. DON'T sign a contract with The Bath Authority, or any of the high priced commission sales bathroom remodelers. *** does not care how much you spend with them. There is no loyalty. The only advice if you really want to pursue it, is whatever their first estimate is, offer to accept it for 25%. Original offer 18K, they priced matched another high pressured sales company and did it for 12k, for a 4k job. I chose Bath Athority in June to work on my shower in my master bathroom. They said 8-12 week to replace my soaking tub with a shower and put a new window in. In August I was told universal windows and Bath Authority show be there the same time one do the windows would not take long and then Bath Athority would start demo and shower project. My window and Universal windows never came. Bath Athority did demo and put my shower in but I asked them not to put my window kit up until my window was installed. I signed my contract on 9/8 with the expectation that the project would be completed by 10/20, as I was expecting a guest. When I shared this timeline with the salesperson, I was told installations were being scheduled about 56 weeks out at that time. He also said he would work with his manager to expedite the project as much as possible. We were given a quote for a new shower in late May 2025. We were told that the leak we had around the baseboard was due to the design of the existing shower. The house is only two years old. 8 weeks later the installers removed the old shower and replaced with a new shower however, they didn’t come with the correct material. Terribly overpriced, high pressure sales tactics, and slickly glossed over cancellation clauses that force you to pay 70 percent of the total price if you go a minute past a three day clause that the sales rep surely won't point out to you. I am very disappointed in the communications with the Bath Authority. My shower was supposed to be remodeled on August 18 and done in 1 day. After 5 different days at my house the job still is NOT done nearly 2 months later and the Bath Authority has been PAID in FULL. I have called and asked for a manager to call me on 6 different occasions, and I have yet to speak to a manager. A total and complete nightmare- My project was started June 12th, a 1 day bathtub to shower conversion- Tub and walls were removed, they had a clean slate to start. 12 hrs later I had only 2 matching walls and no doors-Installers messed up on the 3rd wall and it needed to be reordered. Shower floor was pitched wrong and damaged out of the box, Huge holes left at the bottom of side walls- was told to get peel and stick tiles to cover.
