We went to The Bob last night for some drinks. There were outside seating options or indoor. We decided to sit at the outside bar area. After a while we noticed outside customers being denied entry to the inside restrooms so many people were relieving themselves around the side of the building. We found it highly ridiculous that paying customers were forced to piss in the streets. Indoor security basically were telling people they did not care.
Extremely unorganized event we purchased tickets for. Every time we asked someone a question we were sent to someone who gave a complexly different answer. We arrived at 7pm to eat. We were told to go to the second floor to register for the costume contest, once we got to the second floor, three different people working the event had no idea where to register for the contest and sent us back to the first floor where we began. Apparently the Executive Order in MI for Covid doesn't allow you to dance in a dance club according to the BOB
First time there last night before a concert. I had the bucket of ribs with the Amish chicken thigh, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The coleslaw didn’t have any taste to it. The chicken thigh was undercooked. Mashed potatoes and ribs were good. The garlic Texas toast was good but I would prefer corn bread with my dinner. I was going to order the sweet corn but there wasn’t just regular grilled sweet corn it had a lot of items on it that I wasn’t going to eat.The atmosphere was great. Price was a little on the high side.
Stone fired Pizza was great. Drink was watered down. Garlic bread burnt and over priced. Service was great
Went there before the Bodeans concert and had a great dinner at Gilleys! Tried to go in after but there was a 5 dollar cover for men. No problem, counted out 5 dollars in dollar bills and were told that they did not take dollar bills, offered a 100 bill and were told it was too big???? Are you kidding me? Walked across the street to another bar for drinks. Nice job!
Glad you can run a business that allows bouncers to punch people for no valid reason. Even if there was somewhat of a reason- being a bouncer doesn’t give you that right. Regular visitor is no longer visiting. I have pictures to prove it. Thank you for the horrible experience
I have always been a fan of The Bob until Tonight. We went to a show at 20 Monroe live. We ate dinner at Bobarino’s before the show. The food was good , service was good. After the show we went back to The Bob. We checked our coats with the intention of possibly doing some dancing. We had a few beers then decided to check out Eve. The website said that men had to pay $5 entrance to Eve on Saturday but this was Friday. The music band was awesome! But I was not impressed with the service the waitress took way too long!!! Also, I was very disappointed that there were no bathrooms on the lower level. I was told I had to go to another floor just to use the bathroom. I had to fight through the crowd it was a huge inconvenience. I am not planning on coming back anytime soon.
