About this business

The B.O.B. (an acronym for Big Old Building) is located in downtown Grand Rapids. The 70,000-square-foot, four-story, red brick building was constructed in 1903 as Judson's grocery warehouse. It stood vacant for decades before The Gilmore Collection began its transformation, saving it from demolition. Its casual appeal, large size and historic charm have given The B.O.B. destination status in downtown Grand Rapids. Ambitious, expansive, and versatile, The B.O.B. is a big old building of fun, offering a multitude of choices f... read more

The Nickleback of bars. This place has some of the most inconsiderate, rude, and disrespectful staff I've ever met. The bartenders were wonderful, everyone else however made the entire first time experience at The Bob definitely not worth trying it out for a second time.

Disappointed with the $60.00 buffet and noise!! Could not have a conversation with our group of 4. A large group of kids waiting on the West end for some area to open. Won't come back.

My family used to love going here for our New Year's Eve dinner before going to the Griffin's. It shouldn't take 7-8 phone calls and a week just to get ahold of someone to make a reservation to bobarino's for mid-afternoon before all festivities begin. Messages ignored, no call backs, lying about returning calls... really too much just to secure a table at a pizza place. There's plenty of options around. We will not be back. Such a shame to see a once great place go so downhill. As I can see in the reviews, nobody has truly ... read more

They tried to give us a terrible table by a video game when there were plenty of decent tables, so we refused and got something better. Food was good and came fast, but the 2 servers assigned to our table never offered us another beer. Felt rushed and unwelcome.

After Saturday nights racism. I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone. It's a disgrace to go out and celebrate with friends. Then to be singled out with a dumb racist comment. I find it horrible that the manager said this isn't the first time. Yet he's continued to be hired and playing there. Again I'll never come back to BOB. nor will anyone I know of. I'll be sharing this story with the local news as well and all 4500 of my friends on fb. Encouraging them to boycott this place.

Went to bobarinos for lunch and after waiting 45 minutes to sit in a half full restaurant I had the mushroom and goat cheese pizza which tasted like a piece of cardboard. Absolutely no flavor. My daughter has pasta shells with butter and parmesan. The butter had no flavor and resembled spray on butter. Very little parmesan. My boys shared a make your own pizza with black olives and pepperoni. It came with green olives. Food quality has defiently gone downhill considering the competition downtown especially during ... read more
