We have been frequenting the Chateau for many years. For date night, business lunches and many special occasions. Always great food, warm atmosphere and attentive staff. Excellent all around.
This restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Calamari appetizer was delicious. Meals were just adequate. Baked stuffed shrimp were tasty but small, with a lot of stuffing. My husband had an Italian Combo. He found the sauce to be too watery and the sausage to be something you'd buy at the grocery store. Service was slow, and one in our party got a baked potato instead of the ordered mashed. All in all, I would give the place another try, hoping they were just having a bad day.
Excellent comfort food. Glad the Chateau is now on Open Table.
We haven't been to the Chateau for a few years, but it looked as I remembered it. I requested for water view seating and we received good seating as requested a 6:00PM reservation. The food served was good, but 3 of the 4 meals were served luke warm. The Chicken Picatta was hot, but the 3 Italian Trio dinners ordered were not, which seemed odd. All 3 Trio meals severed were pretty standard portions, but were not large in comparison to other Italian restaurants we frequent.
Food and waitstaff were great but they seemed A little unorganized at the hostess station. They forgot about our reservation and seated others Before us. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes before I realized people who came after us were getting seated They apologizes and sat us right away and the rest of the meal was good
Always good food and friendly staff! Lobster roll is great!
