I was disappointed with my meal. We used to go to The Chateau frequently but haven’t been since the pandemic. The prices have gone up significantly and I didn’t enjoy my meal. We were seated in the back room overlooking the pond. It was freezing cold. We had to move our table. Our service was good.

We ordered mussels and they were served to us wrapped in tin foil, I’ve never seen such a thing. We returned them, they didn’t taste good and was a weird consistency. All our drinks took forever. There were like 10 servers and only 2 bartenders and the bar was very busy. The bartenders were running like crazy the bar was a mess, but plenty of servers and hosts just standing around. It was strange, cross train more people and help each other out. Leah was our server she was very nice but could only control so much. We sat nea... read more

We were offered a booth or window table, after picking a high top table on the reservation. They don’t have high tops. It shouldn’t be on the reservation. At night, the window seats shouldn’t be offered. It’s cold in that area, some blinds were pulled down and the windows re useless. Our server was great and the food was great.

Overall bad experience. The staff tried hard and was well intentioned, but not competent. Even food from the fryer came out inedible which I haven’t seen before. The waiter forgot to deliver waters after being asked, didn’t check on how we were doing after food arrived, and didn’t notice that no one could eat the dishes we were served. My positive would be that the appetizer arrived before the entree. As a middle age adult, I have eaten out a few times a week, and this is my first lifetime “constructive” review.

Our sever was very attentive and provided excellent service. The food was of low quality and poor execution. I ordered veal Saltimbocca which is supposed to be made with marsala as the main ingredient in the sauce. What I received was essentially turkey gravy that had no taste of marsala, contained lumps of flour from being poorly made, and contained about three small pieces of mushrooms. The veal was overcooked and very difficult to cut through. This is not how you execute Italian food. I had not been here in several years ... read more

Food was not worth the cost. Scollops were very chewy. Stuffed mushrooms were undercooked. Service was great.

Man, The Chateau has seen better days, or maybe it’s been this tired and depressing for a while, but I never stopped to observe. For the actual quality and presentation of the food, it’s really not that far a step up from a take-up pizza place that offers pasta dishes. And that’s ok sometimes, but not at upper-mid-level quality restaurant prices. Here’s an example: I ordered a Greek salad with chicken added. The chicken was obviously previously processed, complete with fake grill marks and uniformly half-inch thick. The cucu... read more

The food was not as described (no fresh fruit in an expensive and mediocre sangria), the server couldn’t describe their “specialty” called “toasted ravioli” which we eventually discovered was breaded ravioli and very bland. The best part about the restaurant is we were seated by the window overlooking the water and were entertained by swallows feeding on evening insects.
