Long wait to get first drink order. Sat for about 20 minutes after being seated to have service.
Did not have our reservation the hostess was rude and very stressed wasn't sure if she could honor our request to be by the water only to find the place was empty
Tables were not social distance apart. Broiled Salmon was over cooked and dried out. When the waitress was told of the problem she did not offer to take it back to the kitchen but instead offered melted butter.
I ordered Fish onion rings were sitting in grease and lukewarm.
Service poor and food just ok...
This was my first time visiting and it was absolutely awful. 25 minute wait just to get our drinks in, during that wait two different servers stopped and asked if someone had taken our drinks we said no and both servers just walked away. Finally after getting a 3rd server who actually got our drinks and brought bread to the table we put our food orders in. The waitress did her best to accommodate us, however the food was do disappointing. We were s party of four with a 5;00 reservation. The restaurant was not busy at all. We ordered appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and antipasto. The mushrooms lacked flavor. The antipasto? So disappointed they even call it such. We hadn’t been to The Chateau in several years because of some poor service experiences. On a whim, we decided to give it a try again. It was not a particularly busy Saturday night by their standards. We had no problems booking a reservation, though we had to wait a few minutes while they checked to see if the empty table right by them was “ready.” Probably a bad signal.
