I had made reservations for my wife's birthday. Originally we had 4 people but we added a 5th person to the party. I went online to make the change and received a confirmation. When we got to the restaurant, they did not have the correct reservation, they still had a party of 4. They said that the changes done online were not reflected on their system. We finally got our new table. When we got our new table, the waitress took our orders, We waited 10 minutes for knives to be delivered to the table. I guess recently they chan... read more
The food is never hot. That is my biggest gripe at the Chateau.
Kids mac and cheese was terrible. My kid was gagging on it. I tried it and it was as terrible as he made it seem .
My husband and I felt like we were in a time warp! The food was not good- I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was made with egg noddles instead of Fettuccine. It lacked flavor and was mushy. The chicken was also flavorless and was chewy in a scary kind of way. My husband had Lobster Newburg casserole and it was dry and he questioned whether it was actually lobster. The waitress was not knowledgeable about basic food ingredients. I would skip this place if you’re looking for quality.
Initially I thought based on the start of service with the warm greetings, and initial attention I’d rate the Chateau higher but quickly, like New England weather ... everything changed rapidly, and our anniversary dinner turned into being ignored and absolutely terrible food; no love or passion was shown in preparing our entrees - my shrimp scampi was oily, tasteless, the shrimp looked sad, pathetic, and probably like myself wondering what they did to the line cook to be abused and tortured. My other half’s meal was also bl... read more
We had made reservations for a big group 3 weeks prior to our event. We were told we couldn’t be guaranteed the spot we wanted because they did t know how busy they would be. During dinner our waitresses seemed annoyed and short with us. They were unwilling to work with us on multiple payments.
We had made 6:30 reservations on Saturday. We finally sat down at 7:30 because our table wasn't ready. The communication was horrible at best. There is no excuse for an hour delay when reservation were made in advance. They did however comp our appetizers which was a nice gesture. The food was good and it came out in a reasonable time. We will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. Herb M
Lobster and shrimp was over way cooked , dried out and tasteless. Italian red sauce option from a prior visit was okay
