About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. What an incredible experience! Chef Paul came out to our table to share stories about the scrumptious menu selections that were as flavorful as the fare. Normally I'm meat centric, but his vegetarian chili in the acorn squash bowl was hearty, tasty and filling. I took a date, who had the head-on Red Snapper--so much fun! Our overall experience was so exceptional, I can't believe we aren't married yet! Maybe on my next visit.

This place was amazing! The water they serve has a hint of strawberry and watermelon, it's hardly noticeable, but makes it very refreshing, and pink. We had the spicy margarita, and smoked cinnamon old fashioned, both great! The riblets are 100% tender, and their BBQ sauce is great. They give you a bowl of water with lemon in it, so cleaning your fingers is easy, and there isn't sticky everywhere. They French fries have a crunchy coating, and are clearly made in house. Chef Paul has created another wonderful dining experience. The food and service were fantastic. I had the ribeye and it was perfect. If you've never had South African influenced fusion cuisine then you haven't yet lived. Whether it is seafood, steak, or anything in between you won't be disappointed. Points for home. If you like goat cheese then get the stuffed peppadews. If you like hummus the red pepper inspired dish is incredible. If you love bread pudding then get the sticky toffee and go to heaven!

One of the absolute best restaurants in Houston!! The best authentic cuisine that you won't find anywhere else! The staff is very friendly and the chef will go around and check on its customers, which is something I don't see at other restaurants! Gotta try it, it will become your favorite restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Spent the evening with good friends enjoying the food and scene. Kyra took care of us as if we were family. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go now, forget the price, you deserve to treat yourself to this experience.
