We had our christmas lunch at Chef’s Table today and one of the waitress made a rude comment telling us to leave because they had an evening reservation (even though we were 18 people they wanted us out) and although the food was excellent, the service at the end was terrible. Any chance of returning is gone. We wont be coming back for sure.

My wife came home with leftovers from a lunch meeting. She ordered the ribeye. The steak was only half an inch thick. How disgusting, this restaurant ripping off their customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves. More “worth it” steaks can be had Walmart.

Business response:

Asa, Here at The Chef's Table we hold very high pride in our food quality. We hand cut all of our proteins in house; we specifically order Prime Certified Angus Beef Ribeye to cut for our lunch and dinner steaks. We weigh every cut of meat we serve, also to mention, the lunch 8oz ribeye is our number 1 selling protein for lunch for over 6 months now. We have a 16oz dinner portion which is 1inch thick. We apologize you felt the cut was sub par but we would recommend dining in our restaurant to experience the full cut and qual... read more

Unfortunately, would not recommend this spot for anyone in their twenties. A group of 5 of us on a work trip decided to order a bottle of wine with our food. After the waiter checked our IDs, the manager came out and also looked at our IDs. She determined that our IDs were fake (they were not) and that they were not comfortable with serving us. The manager was very belittling and cited a fake law as to why they could not serve us. We each had our passports or at least a scan of it and even offered to let them scan our IDs. I... read more

Ok I hope you're sitting down for this one! I walk in with my 96 y/o mom & my service dog. The matre'd said "One moment I'll have to get the CHEF!!!" So my mom and I waited and the chef came out and said "no pets or children" to which I said "This isn't a pet he's a service dog (and we are protected by the "Americans with Disabilities Act" a Federal law with which you must comply.) On response the "chef" said "we can stuff them in here and my sweet, little old mother said "were not going to be 'stuffed' anywhere" and she hob... read more

Business response:

Emily, I am sorry to hear that this instance occurred to you! As the Chef and owner of The Chef's Table at Vintage Park, I find this very concerning, as I have gone through proper measures to ensure myself and my entire staff's awareness of the rules and regulations regarding service animals. We hold a copy of the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II & Title III at The Chef's Table hostess stand- available to our staff and patrons at all times. Per our personal policy, we do not mandate outside seating and ... read more

Whole Experince: Went in and was told that it would be a 45min wait which is fine. We then sat at the bar and a ordered a drink (the bartender was excellent and charismatic). Later after the 45min we were told it would be another 45min-1hr. From there we decided to simply eat at the bar and was expecting for a waiter to bring us a menu however we never received one so we asked the bartender for a menu instead. Was then greeted by the manager about this exact 1 star review and she explained that they were busy and had lots of... read more
