Felt like a penthouse stay on a budget The room got too cold, and there was no way we could turn heat on before bed. Also, each bed only had one sleeping pillow as the rest were throw pillows. My bed was stiff, and I felt limited on where I could sleep due to one pillow. The door was locked but loose, so when others were closing their doors, ours would rattle like it was being opened. Go in with eyes wide open but overlook the little things and don't expect the Hilton. Biggest issues that may affect stay: it's an old building and everything just looks and feels old. And not in a charming b and b kind of way. It was sufficient, but I have to say that if we didn't have the larger double facing the lake, I'm not sure I would have been so happy with the hotel. Good The fact that housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 am looking to see if we were gone and check out wasn't til noon. When we left about an hour later, they were waiting in the hallway.

We were happy to find a hotel stay at this price point so close to soldier field. It would have been even nicer if the b One should not have to worry whether the toilet is going to overflow when you just pee. the plumbing is commensurate with an old property I guess, but that doesn’t make it less disgusting. The shower was backing up and filling the bathtub with questionable water to the extent that I told my daughter she should probably just wait til we got back home.
