Arrive early. Check in was very slow. There were 50+ people waiting all weekend long. They do not seem to be ready for busy weekends. Such delay stopped me from, using other services. Skipped breakfast and the bar because of it. I always enjoyed the level service in Chicago whenever I came to Chicago. Services were really poor everywhere I went in Chicago. Clear room with nice view.

Top Notch Congress! We loved everything. Great location to train, parks and beach. Rooms are clean and spacious. We have stayed here a few times and keep coming back. We also enjoy the bar/restaurant on site. We both love the history of the hotel. Also the little extra's the hotel provides for you such as lotion, shower cap, toothbrush, sewing kit are something you just don't find now days.

Definitely would recommend 100% well worth the Value and I will probably be staying here again. Parking is a bit expensive, ($46 for 24 hrs) and it’s an open lot behind the hotel (so not private) and there is no in and out “privileges.” Then again most hotels have garages that are 4+ Blocks away so not a terrible deal. Staff is amazing and the hotel is very clean, we got a free complimentary upgrade to a lake side view! I chose this hotel because of the location and parking is around back.
