it was a really nice place to stay no microwave nice large room with a window.
The Congress Hotel is a landmark. It has a fascinating history, and it's perfectly located. I thought breakfast might be included. Very nice room and beautiful setting. Proximity to everything, public transportation, beautiful Grant Park, the art museum, Buddy Guy's Legends, fine dining.

Great location, great place to use as a home base. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. I wish the cafe and the bar were a little more updated. The decor is straight from the 80's. They had a good selection at the bar though so no big deal. The rooms were a little dated as well, but they were very clean and comfortable so it wasn't a big deal at all. Very Good
The Congress The only thing I didn't like was this old smell that was in the room and around some areas of the hotel. It just smells like an old building aroma, which I didn't like but got used to over time. I loves the location, which is right across the street from Grant Park, and right in the Loop. I also liked the hotel building itself, which is very old and has a unique feel and character to it.
Fantastic place! Comfy and close to everything! Spotty WiFi though. The WiFi was terrible on floor 9, but that's really my only complaint. The location was fantastic. We could walk almost everywhere we were visiting, there were some amazing places nearby. I loved the room, it was very comfortable, the aesthetics of the place are fantastic, the ceilings were high and everything was gorgeous. I love the older aesthetics of this place. Food was delicious, too, and staff was great!
Gute Lage, sauberes Hotel Das Zimmer hatte zwar Fenster, diese liessen sich jedoch nicht öffnen. War komisch, da unser Zimmer als Notausgang gekennzeichnet war und die Feuerleiter vor dem Fenster hing. Sehr gute Lage, viele günstige Restaurants in der Nähe. Wir haben alles zu Fuss erkundet. Sauberes Hotel. Der Lift war mega schnell.
