Weekend girls getaway Room could have been a little more updated. The property is beautiful. Great location over looking the party and lake.
I would definitely recommend it to others: great location, nice room space, and courteous staff. The only issue was that the bathtub was clogged and drained slowly. We really liked the room. The beds were comfortable and we did not feel cramped because of the space of both rooms. The rooms were clean and when I requested more coffee packages, the staff brought them right away.
Great stay, great people, great location The room that I stayed in looked like it needed to be updated. The rest of the hotel as beautiful as it is did not seem to match the room quality. I also felt that the beds that we slept on are only comfortable if you enjoy a very firm mattress. That did not happen to be me or my friends that I was traveling with. It was fabulous! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Floor 14 lake view and it was spectacular. I woke up both mornings to a beautiful sunrise.
Upgrades needed! While I appreciate holding on to the aesthetics of the past, I believe this hotel takes it to another level. The rooms are not uniformed with updated or functioning room sets. For example, our first first (before requesting another room) did not have a lamp stand on both sides of the bed AND the TV on the wall was the size of a PC monitor from the 90s.
