I had a wonderful brunch at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and was looking forward to dinner there with a friend. However , the live music was outrageously loud and absolutely not conducive to dinning. Although the hostess tried to seat us away from the musicians, it was still too loud to even hear each other talk....so we left and ate at another local restaurant. Live music every Friday and Sunday evenings...6 to 8 pm. Stay away! Otherwise GOOD FOOD and service at the brunch. Will try dinner during the week next time... read more

My wife and I took my parents out on the first summer night of 2017 to celebrate moving into Glen Cove. We sat outside to enjoy the weather and couldn't have been happier. I'm ecstatic this is only a 5 minute drive away. But with this type of scenery, food, and ambiance, even if it was an hour away, it'd be worth the trip. We'll be frequenting again very soon.
My wife and I were celebrating our 32th wedding anniversary. So happy that we chose the cove. From the drinks to the meal everything was great. Plus they had a live band that night which was excellent. We arrived at 6:30 pm did leave till 11:00 pm. Would highly recommend.
Our meal was great, I highly recommend the crab cake eggs Benedict, it was one of the best things I've ever had
The food was tasty but the portions were very small compared to similar offerings in local restaurants . Four shrimps for appetizer is not adequate . The roasted cod was a tiny portion . Very disappointing .
My family went there for Mother's day. They had a great price fixe special with a good range of choices. The braised short ribs were very tender and flavorful. Pasta with veggies tastes like it was fresh, handmade noodles perfectly cooked. And drinks were excellent...try the Next Fig Thing...so good but a little pricey at $13 @. Also desserts were great especially the fig gelato. The Cove never ceases to amaze me. Their new menu is spectacular! The fish is extremely fresh accompanied by light, tasty sauces. The specialty salads are creative, ice cold and fresh. If you are an oyster lover, this is the place for you! They have also created a few signature cocktails for the spring and summer that will definitely quench your thirst! Food is good, but not great. Menu descriptions are not consistent. For example, tomato watermelon salad was described to have heirloom tomatoes and vinegar, instead they were regular tomatoes, and zero vinegar. Hamburger didn't have pickles... still, the food tasted good. Outside seating has a gorgeous view of the water.
