Great gym! Definitely my favorite of all time. Huge, great equipment, super clean, and just overall a quality gym. Definitely gets crowded but other than that it's perfect.
The layout is funky and the clientele is kind of rude and lazy (have to clean up after people and ask them to stop texting and get off the machine). Staff is nice and the equipment is good
The Edge is the best gym in town, especially for the price. I signed up for the Red membership, which at $50 down and $10 a month is a steal. For a price like that I was expecting a Planet Fitness type deal with free pizza and doughnuts (lol) but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw four power racks, numerous benches and Olympic lifting equipment, and patrons that *actually rerack their weights.* (Don't even get me started on the Cranston LA Fitness, that place is a war zone) There is a huge indoor turf s... read more
I'm a Edge Member this a great gym and peoples are nice. On a plus side it close to my house (5 minutes drive). I'm happy with it.
This hurts me to rate this gym only three stars but I feel like I don't have a choice. I joined a couple months ago and for a while this might have been the best gym I've ever joined in my life. Top notch equipment, lots of amenities without being too gimmicky, pleasant and helpful staff, and best of all...clean. However the last three weeks have completely skeeved me out for the simple fact that they have completely run out of Lysol wipes and they don't seem to have any plan of restocking them! Brand new facility in Cranston, RI. Good equipment with a good selection to choose from. Great selection of classes, childcare available and a cardio movie theatre. The staff is friendly and upbeat and the place is always clean.
I took the risk of signing up before even looking at the gym. I was a member of a different gym that I never went to because I was "bored". I have been a member since October and couldn't wait until this gym opened. There are so many classes, clean equipment, and fantastic staff. I cant use the excuse of "being bored" any more. As a long-time member of another local fitness establishment that began to slump in service and cleanliness, I was very eager to hear about a new gym expanding into Rhode Island - Edge Fitness. I signed up during an open house at their temporary sales office without even seeing the facility. The team was the reason why.
