I signed up for Edge Cranston in Oct 2019 prior to opening. I Was told I would get $20 for every referral. I got at least 4 people sign up and never got any referral fees. Mentioned it multiple times to edge associates last year and was told "yeah everyone keeps saying that". Today I was told "marketing handles that". Everyone keeps passing the buck. I enrolled in this gym when it had not yet opened in October 2019. I agreed to a one-year contract that included the monthly fee plus a charge of $ 49.99 once a year. I only attended a couple of months due to COVID, there was a time that they remained closed and they credited us. This gym refused to put a one month hold on my account due to covid and the customer service rep was outright rude and demanded a medical note for cancelling my account? Like, you're a gym, calm down. Unbelievable that I choose to work out and give my money to edge and they will not help in the middle of a pandemic. Terrible way to treat customers.

Thought this place was great until I got deployed to work in a Covid unit at the hospital and called as a courtesy to cancel my membership. You know, just trying to not expose innocent people at the gym. I was required to get a note from HR at my hospital proving that I actually care for Covid patients. (What kind of person would make this up?) I have a serious medical condition and even with a note from my physician indicating that I cannot use the edge fitness clubs, ABC Financial (the finance partner of edge fitness club) refused to allow me to cancel my membership early. I have never been more disgusted with an organization in my life. Believe every negative review you read about this organization, and do not use their services if your gym partners with them. They are horrific, having not even a morsel of human decency.

Im shocked at how bad this gyms customer service is. I highly recommend going somewhere else. I have been trying to cancel my membership because of COVID-19 and my dorm at college closed and I moved home far away from the gyms and have sent them proof and they are saying its not enough to cancel the membership. They are being so rude over email and if I could go to the gym to cancel it I would but it is impossible they are closed and I am far away.

I signed up for a so called "gym membership" before this crappy place opened. I have tried to cancel this membership multiple times but Management lied to me telling me that they would cancel it...next thing you know your getting calls from a collection agency about this stupid gym. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY JOIN A BETTER GYM FOR FITNESS NOT Edge.

Pros: Beautiful facility with great equipment. Cons: Too busy. Unfortunately their success it what makes it not so great. Even at 8:30 pm the place is so packed it's hard to get your workout out. If your thinking of joining, and usually work out in the evening, do yourself a favor and drop by at one of the peak times to see how it is.
