my only complaint was that we were told we’d be able to sit at a booth at the bar when I did the reservation and we checked in we were put at a high top table in the bar it was by the door and very noisy

We had a great experience at The Fountain Room. We were seated promptly with our reservation. They were prepared to wish my son a Happy Birthday when we arrived as I had mentioned it in the reservation. We were seated at one of the half circle booths in the main dining, which was an ideal location and table for us. The ambience of the restaurant is amazing. This was our first time here and we were celebrating an anniversary. The service and food were excellent. We were also pleased with the extra touch of an anniversary card signed by the staff. Since our long time, favorite restaurant in the neighborhood has closed...we are looking for a new place and we may have found it.

Great place to celebrate my Wife on her Birthday The Birthday card signed by the staff was an excellent touch. Everyone was aware of the Birthday. Made us feel like we were the most important visitors that night. A+++

Server was excellent. Drinks were very generous. But it is a very loud environment. Conversation difficult if you are older. Steak and fish dishes were good. Grilled chicken was reportedly very dry and my guest did not eat her serving on her salad. I should have insisted she return it but she did not want to create tension. Prices are as listed…wish we could have heard each other talk.

Went here for brunch and everything was delicious. A beautiful setting with a view of Mass Ave. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
