This was my best dining out experience in a a very long time. When I made my reservation, I told them that I was celebrating my birthday so they had a birthday card on our table when we arrived...nice touch! The birtday dessert; I don't even have words for how good it was. All of the food was fantastic. I wish I could clone our waitress Meg, she was the real key to this awesome experience.

My son goes to school at UIndy and anytime we visit him we try to hit another steak house. We’ve been to St. Elmos, Harry & Izzy’s, Weber, Sullivan’s and now the Fountain Room. For sure one of the better ones we have been to. The French onion soup was spot on, the dressing on the chopped salad had just the right amount of sweetness, the sides were perfectly done and the steak couldn’t have been any better. If you want a superb dinning experience with excellent food, look no further.

First time and it was great! We had a wonderful server, Mitch, who was attentive and friendly. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Don't live in Indiana but if we find ourselves in Indy again we will definitely be back.

i went for my birthday and got amazing service and a nice dessert from the waitress who was extremely nice, definitely worth it and would come back!
The three of us dined at the Fountain Room last evening, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. One of us ordered the steak, which was cooked perfectly — tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. Another chose the sea bass, and it was outstanding — fresh, delicate, and beautifully prepared. My husband and I visited The Fountain Room while in Indianapolis for our five-year anniversary. I chose it because it’s in the Bottleworks District near Pin’s Mechanical Company—perfect for a walkable area, especially in cold weather. I made a same-day reservation on OpenTable and noted we were celebrating our anniversary and hoped for more “romantic” seating.
