We enjoyed every minute of our experience at the Fountain Room. Our server was well trained and did a great job helping us choose drinks and food based on our tastes. The ambience is unmatched. Loved the decor and the whimsical wallpaper in the bathrooms. The booths placed next to the large windows provide a great opportunity for people watching in this flourishing neighborhood. We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. I’d made a note when I made the reservation it was an anniversary & they gave us a card and dessert in the house ❤️. The food was fabulous, the perfect portion size, server was friendly, efficient & did a fabulous job. We will be back!

Entrees and desserts were outstanding. Our waitress, who was very attentive, made our daughter's birthday something special by bringing out a free dessert--after we had split a slice of chocolate cake, with three smaller pieces on three separate plates--better than one slice and 3 spoons. We were a little disappointed that the brie appetizer tasted more like cream cheese, and our daughter couldn't detect a couple ingredients she was expecting in her gin martini--but these are minor issues. Everything was excellent! We all enjoyed our food and our server was great. I find the decor very beautiful. The atmosphere was lively but pleasant on a Sunday morning. The brunch menu has something for everyone and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Our table had the French Toast and Shrimp & Grits. I will definitely come again for brunch to try some other items.

The ambiance was lovely. Very old timey, great bar area and truly lovely decor and design. The issue was the food. The filet comes with nothing. It would be better if the side dish comes with the entree. The server had another person drop them off and said don't worry you won't be charged twice. Ok why would I be charge twice for a side dish I received halfway thru my meal. Had to wait too long for a beverage refill. When my wine arrived, the server said it would be removed from the bill. Oy. It was not removed from the bill... read more

Manager was an absolute tool. Yells at me for not having a reservation and how dare I just walk in on race weekend. Only problem was I did, and had checked in with the hostess. Moron.
