Our first visit to The Fountain Room and we were congratulated on our anniversary by the host, and then found a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff at our table. The server Chelsea was very attentive, offered great suggestions, surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate. Noise level was moderate but we were seated in the back and could hear each other just fine. We had petite filet, wagyu meatloaf, and the whipped mashed potatoes. The appetizers looked great. My husband and i had a very delicious dinner. We had melted brie ( to die for!) the meatloaf and pork chop and we finished strong with a shared grasshopper dessert! Excellent evening! We ll be back!

I loved our experience. The waiter was very attentive, but not overwhelming. The food was amazing! The only thing i didn't like was the house bread as it was very bland even with the cinnamon butter. My only complaint is that i feel like a restaurant this nice should have an age limit. It was a bummer to have 2 screaming toddlers interrupt our date night almost the entire time we were there.

Amazing meal, our server was outstanding. Next time we are in town we will be back. The sea bass was cooked perfectly along with the delicious sides. My filet was perfect, the broccolini is a must.

Our server was amazing! I’m sure the steak would have been great but it came out cold. Probably because it was waiting for the Mac and cheese to get done because it was super hot. I wish the $95 steak would have been hot instead of the $15 Mac and cheese. Also, there is a caveat at the bottom of the menu that states that there will be 3% added to the bill to offset rising costs. The restaurant hasn’t been open long enough to justify that! Give me a break! Charge what you’re going to charge. Don’t try to sneak something in.

The sashimi tuna, which was a special for the night, was absolutely spectacular. It made our dining experience something different from all of the other steakhouses in Indy. The chef should consider adding it to the main menu to set them apart! I would come back just to have that plate over and over. The service leaves a little to be desired for the price of the location, but the vibe is wonderful. We enjoyed the bar and had a great wine to pair with our steaks. The horseradish crust is MONEY.
