Delicious food, great service, & fun place!
The fried gulf shrimp was delicious. Nanny’s Gumbo was also very good. Good food and good service. Who could ask for more?
We enjoyed a great afternoon at Gumbo Bros! Food was delicious— we started out with some perfectly fried alligator bites, and then got some po boys. Cocktails were also great. Our server was super friendly and helpful, and the other staff were really welcoming too.
Traditionally from Louisiana and wasn’t too impressed with chicken gumbo. Adding the rice immediately to the given bowel took away all the flavor from the roux, as it soaks it all in. General advice would be to put it on the side. Shrimp basket was 12/10. Great happy hour specials. Close to everything local in Gulch area.
I recommend Gumbo Brothers. I had a fried shrimp basket. The shrimp were a good size, juicy, and a great breading. My husband had the gumbo flight. Chicken and sausage was my favorite. He thought the seafood gumbo was the best. They were all delicious.
The food was great and so was the service. Will definitely being going back and getting the fried green tomatoes again!
We came into town and looked for a good place to eat. The Gumbo Bros was awesome! We ate gator bites to shrimp po boys. I ate the scrumptious surf and turf po boy. It was a fun place with great food and service. Highly recommend it and next time I will get a Purple Drank for sure!
The PuPu platter and alligator bites were delicious. We enjoyed the gumbo flight and had a great time together.
Fried green tomatoes and alligator bites were great appetizers. The gumbo had the darkest rue I have seen New Orleans.
