Food and service was great! Highly recommend the fried tomatoes, alligator bites and chicken and sausage gumbo.

Super lunch spot - quick and tasty. We had bowl of chicken gumbo and fried catfish. Catfish was good but we both liked the gumbo better.
Wonderful Service. The restaurant was very busy, but they had our table for 6 ready right when we arrived! When I saw how packed the restaurant was, I did not have much hope of having a table since the place is somewhat small. But, the awesome bartender took us right to our table. Our server was very personable, quick and brought our food out fresh and hot! Will definitely go again!

Not what I expected. Travelled there for the gumbo and was told before I was seated that if I was planning on ordering the gumbo it would be a 30-minute wait because they ran out of rice. I settled for the shrimp basket. The slaw is too vinegary. The waffle fries were cooked well and the shrimp were awesome. I would recommend.
The chicken gumbo and fried shrimp were good. In our opinion, the fried okra had too much breading, the waffle fries were not that good, the coleslaw was way too sour to eat and the beignets lacked flavor. I was really hoping the catfish would be wonderful but it wasn’t the best in town. It comes in one long filet that is thick so it was too wet in the whole middle. Fantastic pub-like atmosphere with really good appetizers and super-friendly staff.
Authentic good. Pleasant surroundings. Would certainly return and recommend.
