Fantastic authentic Louisiana food! We had apps of alligator, okra and fried pickles which were all delicious. Everyone had either gumbo or a po boy and all were happy with their meals. Great waiter who helped with what to order too!
Good food and service but the music was too loud. We were a party of 4 and struggled to hear each other. We will be back!
The gumbo was slightly warm, the fried pickles were great and served quickly. The slaw was terrible, the shrimp poor boy was great. The glass of wine at $12 was way over priced. The service was average. I had to get up to ask were my beer was.
Our server was amazing and attentive. However, we have lived in Louisiana and expected more from the food. It wasn't as spicy (spices, not heat) as we are accustomed to. Additionally, the decor was just too 'clean' to give that real Louisiana feeling. Needs some grit. And no crawfish on the menu. Hmmm?
The food was great as always! Our server was great but really jumbled up our spilt checks, however the manager was AMAZING, and sorted everything accordingly! Will definitely be back soon!
The shrimp Po boy was the closest I've had to an authentic new Orleans Po boy since I've been. Highly recommend.
Absolutely love this place. Best authentic Cajun food in Nashville.
