This is a very nice facility! It is very clean and the staff seem to cater to my loved one's needs. There are many activities for my loved one to participate in, such as bingo and church services. She stays very busy! Overall, my loved one is pleased with her stay!

Making the decision to place my husband in memory care was the hardest decision of my life. Placing him at The Hampton was one of best decisions I have made. From day one, the staff, caregivers, and nurses all addressed him by his first name. He has been shown kindness and respect. Our loved one felt at home immediately at The Hampton. She told me many times how wonderful the entire staff was to her. They made her feel special and took the extra time to address all of her needs and concerns. All the staff are really terrific in their dealings with the residents. They always take the time to speak to each person in a very positive way. I needed to find memory care for my husband in a hurry. At that time, there were not many openings in the Vancouver area. The Director and the Director of Nursing at the Hampton gave up personal time in order to find a room for him and have him admitted. They not only came to his rescue, but to mine as well. The care he received at the Hampton Inn was superior. Every effort was made to see he settled in and was comfortable and safe. I chose The Hampton for my mom's vascular dementia care after viewing numerous facilities in Vancouver. The difference in the way staff interacts with "residents" is immediately apparent. My mom is treated like family, with love, and respect for the difficulties she endures with increasing dementia challenges. I also appreciated the pricing policies wherein everything is included in the monthly fee...no extra charge for bedding, furniture, towels, washing clothes, meals, snacks or distributing medicine. The assisted living portion (Ashley Inn) was a perfect fit for my mother when it became clear that she could no longer live alone or drive. It gave her a lovely place to read her novels and receive friends and family. Being a very private and independent person, I wasn't sure how she would do in an assisted living environment, but thanks to the warm and caring staff ( who only "assisted as needed"), she absolutely thrived! My Mother has been in the Hampton for about 9 months, with some health issues along the way, along with dementia.She has progressed well and I thank the staff and management for the care and attention they give my Mother every day.They do not hesitate to call me when anything comes up,and that is a comfort to me. The Ashley Inn at the Hampton has a wonderful, caring staff that has made the transition to a new home for my elderly friend easy and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
