My mother chose Ashley Inn after a weekend of respite care. She will be there 3 years in April. We are both happy with her stay here. Everything is kept nice and clean, but it is the people who care for her that makes it special. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they really care for the residents. It made things easy for me that she wanted to be here, even though it was a big change for her. Amy was a great help in getting mom VA benefits that we did not know about. Also, Hampton Inn paid the application fee for VA bene... read more
My father has lived at The Ashley Inn for a little over six months. Both caregivers and management have made a real effort to find my father's preferences and needs. I appreciate the respect he has been shown. Every effort is made to make sure that his freedom of movement and action is not restricted, unless required for the sake of his health or safety. Services are not provided unless they are needed. The facility is run for the clients, not for the convenience of the staff. The pricing for care is based on overall require... read more
When I went in to tour, it was a nice place. When I first contacted them from my list, I was told I would get information in the mail, I did not get it. After calling them they did not deal with what I needed. I kind of got the run around for a while. I did not like the feeling and I felt uncomfortable with the tour. I did not feel the warmth from the community.
We thank the staff and the residents for accommodating our nursing students during their first clinical experience. Your team along with the residents provided a warm and welcoming teaching environment that helped to facilitate the learning process for the students first clinical nursing experience. We thank everyone for their willingness, support and contribution to excellence in nursing.
My father in law was here for a respite stay. We were very pleased with all they did for us. Everything went very well, they took good care of him and his needs. It is a nice looking facility, they do a good job with the cleanliness. The staff was great. We knew he was safe and in good hands. I would recommend this community.
Very nice facility, clean, smells nice, well maintained - exp nice in an older facility. Good staffing ratios, graduated care "neighborhoods" - focus on use of licensed staff, which is important to us. And the food smelled amazing!
I really do enjoy this community and they are taking very good care of my husband. It is a comfortable community and they are really nice and kind here. The staff is wonderful and very helpful to him and his needs. They are very accommodating, even when I am there they offer me lunch for free. The community is very well kept and looks clean and nice. The food is great, they have two cooks and all the food is homemade which is very good. This is a really nice community that I would recommend.
I looked at a lot of places. I knew I wanted a small facility and wanted my mom to be able to be able to keep cats. They maintain the property very well. My mom requires a lot of attention than what they are used to. She is needing getting to the restroom and moving around. This facility is assisted living. They have 1 nurse and 1 caregiver on the floor. My mom requires a bit of attention.
We are happy with my mother-in-law's care at the Hampton Inn. She enjoys the activities (especially singing), and is constantly commenting about "all the nice people there". When I am visiting she is often greeted by name by a staff member walking past us. We appreciate the willingness of the staff to work specifically w/ her needs to see she has the best of care and quality of life.
