My nephew had his wedding there on June 30 2017. It was beautiful and would love to attend another event there.
We stayed there last night for a romantic Valentine's weekend. It did not disappoint. We were greeted warmly by all of the staff. They were super attentive the whole time. The security guy came and introduced himself personally. Asked what room we were in so he could make sure we had everything we needed. THe property is absolutely beautiful!! Very friendly staff, good food, regal rooms that still managed to be cozy. Music was a weird negative. It was bad instrumental versions of current pop songs. Loved the freedom of wandering the grounds, even in the cold rain. We have wondered our whole lives what the inside might end up being and now we know. Lovely!!!!
Staff was very friendly & room very clean, we had everything we needed in our room, the place is breathtakingly beautiful, we booked the "Murder Mystery Dinner". I enjoyed the little skit, it was rather short but still enjoyable but was disappointed in the food, we had braised beef, mashed potatoes & carrots (you can't order off menu when they have the murder mystery & we didn't know what we were getting till then), the food was good, I just expected finer cuisine I guess but dessert was dreadful, some kind of berry sauce wi... read more
