Very beautiful & lots of nice events. Went 3 years ago & tickets were $30 per person for a chicken finger lunch with princess & super heroes. Since then tickets are $90 per person. Just way overpriced in my opinion

Food was good but nothing really special. Of course the castle is beautiful and with a beautiful spring day it was easy to enjoy the atmosphere. No tours offered but we were told if we would like to walk around that it was fine.. Fountains not up and running so that was a busy disappointing as well. Had to ask for bread with our meal etc but the waiter wa VERY knowledgeable about his wine and spirit selection so that was great! Might return but not on our list of places we need to go again. Very underwhelming.

My daughter and I both attended the Bridal event on June 7, 2017 and both as brides to be! The girl at the registration table didn't take me seriously 😞. I was hoping to see some bridal shops with booths set up displaying wedding gowns and mother of the bride dresses as well. No luck. We saw a lot of photographers and a couple do cake displays with samples and a few floral professionals. The event could use caterers and bridal/groom wear showings!! Highlight of the event for us was seeing the castle and the carriage ... read more

The Castle was great but the event was terrible! Poorly organized!

My husband and I were rather disappointed in our stay. First of all, a bed and breakfast that costs, with tax. $271.95 a night should offer a much nicer breakfast than a continental breakfast that is comparable to a Days' Inn. It was such a disappointment. We have been to bed and breakfasts before and the breakfast was always well worth the stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a woman with a "Can I help you?" that sounded more like a "What do you want?" We were able to check in a little early, which was nice, since we ju... read more

I normally never change my review, because I believe first impressions are pretty accurate. But after Krista called to extend her deepest apologies for her staff, offered a full refund for the weekend, plus a free two night stay for my daughter and her husband in the Royal suite on their one year anniversary. I believe the Castle is doing a great job to rectify the rude behavior we encountered on May 21st, 2016. I will leave my original post but wanted Krista to know how much her apology meant to me and my daughter. After t... read more

I recently had my wedding at Castle Hill Winery, next to Castle Post. My fiancé paid for two nights at the castle and informed the staff that my bridal party and I would be getting ready in that room the morning of the wedding. The staff were the most rude and unwelcoming of any place I have ever been. We were told it would be $300/hour (discounted from $600 since we were guests) to have our hired photographer come. We decided not to have the photographer come because the fee was astronomical. The policy does state, however,... read more
