My mum is living at The Laurels and she is cared for extremely well. I absolutely cannot fault her care. All of the staff are lovely and it is a very homely place. I know I could not have found a better place for my lovely mum.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The Laurels are one big happy family and they make you feel a part of it. My mum couldn't have been cared for any better by our own family. They made her feel loved, so happy and improved her quality of life. Her last few weeks, before she sadly passed away, the dignity, care, love and respect they showed my mum, was way beyond their duties and the care they showed us, as well as looking after us, was unbelievable.

We are always made welcome when we visit. They are kind, caring and the attention and individual needs are top priority. You are contacted if they have any worries about your relative. We are given regular updates.

My mum has been at The Laurels for a few years and has been assigned to someone who has been like a daughter to my mum, showing her as much love and care as we could have given her ourselves. Another lady has also not only given Mum the dignity but went that extra mile to ensure she was cared for until the end and the support The Laurels have given us, as a family, has been commendable. We, as a family, cannot give them enough praise, and they will all be in our hearts for a very long time.

Came for two weeks of respite care after a hip operation. Staff very caring and supportive. Foo - excellent. Able to move around inside and outside, and to use the stairs for physio exercises.

The Laurels was my mothers home for six years until her death in November, at the age of 101. Mum was treated with great care and compassion and encouraged to take part in all the activities on offer. The staff were so very kind to her and ensured that during her final weeks, even in these difficult 'covid' times, Mum was surrounded by love and received the very best of care.

My mum became a resident at The Laurels Care Home at the beginning of the first national Lockdown, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, which meant we were not able to visit the home before she arrived. However, we were given as much information and help as possible to ensure Mum's move went smoothly, including a virtual tour. Despite all the restrictions and difficulties related to Covid-safety, Mum was made so welcome and immediately felt comfortable in what was to be her new home. My Mother started at The Laurels Care Home in Draycott in 2014, attending once a week for daycare. After an illness, she became a full-time resident where she remained for over 5 years. The staff were always caring and supportive of the residents and their families and they treated the residents with respect. The home was clean and the food mostly good. The home has done everything to ensure that my father-in-law has settled very well. There is a good range of activities and the staff are all very capable.
