5 star venue, 1 star management. I got married at the Denton Mansion in May. I fell in love with the place when a friend got married there 2 years ago. Little did I know that the management became corporately owned before I booked it. My wedding was beautiful and the venue is so lovely, but the customer service was terrible and the way the management tried to nickel and dime my family almost ruined the wedding planning experience for me. 5-star venue, 2-star service. (The Milestone Mansion Denton) I was so excited when I toured the venue. The manager Ashleigh was excellent. If everyone would have the exact same attitude as her, it could have been the best wedding day. On our wedding day, we showed up at 4:30p and began setting up our decorations & prepping in the bridal suite. We had pre-ordered mimosas for the girls to enjoy before the ceremony. We just got married here and everything was good until our wedding day. Our coordinator, Emily, promised us many things and continuously reassured us that things would be taken care of. Needless to say, we are writing this review because they weren't. We understand that things will go wrong but she did not show any concern for these mistakes. The Milestone is the best venue anyone can choose for their wedding. The staff and event coordinators are absolutely amazing. My special day wouldn't have been the best day of my life without all of the Milestone employees from the event coordinator to the chefs. The event coordinator is the aboslute best you can ask for.
