Popular restaurant and I found out why! The food and service were excellent. From drinks, through appetizers, dinner and dessert, our entire party was impressed. Can't wait to return...
Food and service were good. Will go back but not on a Friday night. Noise was way too loud.
I had the roast duck. It was two legs w/ thighs but no breast. You had no choice on how you wanted it cook. It came only one way which was slightly over cooked and dry. My wife had the scallops which were very good. We started with the tuna tartar and PEI mussels. Both were very nice. It was "steak night" Thursday and so very crowded and the service was a little slow. We arrived close to 7pm, had appetizers and entree only and didn't leave until 9:30. All in all it was a good experience.
We arrived before our time and were seated very quickly. Our table was inside looking out at the water. The noise level was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. We shared the baked clams appetizer. It was very bland except for an intense oregano flavor. The pork entree was just okay. The filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, but our baked potatoes were undercooked as well as the green beans in the vegetable medley. We were very disappointed. The food is good.but the prices have gotten out of control...
The location is a tad hard to find, thankful for the GPS. The food is really good and the service was good. The waitress forgot something we ordered and it never came. The cost is really expensive, we had 2 drinks, 2 soups and 3 appetizers and it was around $100. Definitely somewhere for a special occasion but not a general night out.
The meal was 99% superb, though the popovers served with the salad were tasteless. Odd, considering how good everything else was. I would reconsider those. Otherwise, don't change a thing.!
