I can't say enough about this restaurant. We just moved to the area and found it. The food was absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend everything.
When I go to restaurants, its not easy to impress me. For my first time there, I had a very nice time. The flavor on the clams was excellent. My filet was great as well but definitely not 8 oz. The apple dessert was excellent also. My date had a chocolate thing which was very good as well (too rich for me, but flavor was excellent) Overall I had a great dining experience. I would absolutely go back....but with a different girl.
I am a frequent diner. Food is always good and service is excellent. This is my go to place.
Everything was great but just make sure they check you in because you won't get your points for opentable. Our hostess was training someone and never checked us in said they weren't busy but then I was contacted by opentable about not keeping my reservation so just make sure!
Love eating outside on The Oar's deck on a sunny day. Great, hidden location. Good food and service
It was a beautiful day so we decided to hit The Oar. It was right on a marina which set the scene right. Food was excellent and fresh and service was on point. We had the coconut shrimp, the jubilee salad, and the duck. Very much enjoyed, thank you.
The service was a bit slow, but not uncomfortably so. I got the impression that they were maybe a person short at the bar and in the kitchen. Maybe getting the early season kinks out. Once it arrived, the food was nothing short of amazing!! Definitely worth waiting for. We will be back.
