Reportedly one of a couple buildings that were outlying a large hotel complex in Bay Shore, about a century and a half ago, the Ocean Bay house has room on the first floor for comfortable socialization in stuffed chairs in several clusters, a conference roon for about ten-twelve, a large porch with chairs and rockers, etc., and pool in back. Breakfast was tasty.

Only place to stay in Bay Shore! This is a gem of an Inn! This turn of the century home houses 8 adorable rooms. Our suite, the Seabourne Suite was perfect. Included breakfast each day has been wonderful

Fabulous experience. Colleen and Jen were exceptionally friendly. The food was great! Rooms and home itself were beautifully decorated. Very friendly/comfortable atmosphere.

My family enjoyed the home-like atmosphere that the owner has created here. From the ultimate ease of parking, easy access to the home from the parking lot, extremely friendly and courteous staff...it was like staying with your sister or aunt for a few days. The home itself, being built in 1889 has a sense of history that the renovations and treatments pay homage to rather than erasing.

Colleen was a wonderful host and it was a pleasure to stay at the Ocean Bay House. We loved the b&b experience. This is a beautifully restored 19th century home in a great location right on the water. We would definitely return. The home is within walking distance of good restaurants and it’s close to the local beaches and LIRR stations.
