The staff at the Pines was great. From the admins, the rehab team and to the nurses, everyone helped my father in his final years. I thank them all and I would absolutely recommend them.

I had the pleasure of working at the Pines for my clinical experience for school. The rehab team was inspiring as I got to witness their compassion and dedication to help the patients and residents. The rehabilitation team that consists of PT, OT, and speech all work together to improve patients functional impairments. I had a great experience as a student physical therapist on my clinical rotation at this skilled nursing facility. The rehab staff are amazing and so knowledgeable! They are compassionate and are huge advocates for their patients and all the residents. My mom is dying from Glioblastoma brain cancer-doctors dont know when she will go, but she wanted to do radiation and chemo. With her decline in physical and mental capabilities and being on Medicare, we admitted her to The Pines in Placerville. Overall, our experience with them has no complaints. Initially, she wasn't very happy to be there because of the differences compared to her private room at the hospital. I can't say enough good things about The Pines at Placerville I had a family member that entered there and had the proper care and rehabilitation and physical therapy and support from all aspects starting from the administrator to social services I found out that the administrator is an Eagle Scout. I only have good things to say about this skilled nursing facility. This has become the premier teaching institution of the region and has contributed greatly to my education. All of the staff here made me feel welcome as a student physical therapist for my clinical rotation. Dr. Abraham was my APTA credentialed clinical instructor and has implemented a teaching program here for other doctoral students.
