I considered this location, as I was looking for options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a nice place. Their pricing structure was not really ideal for the amount of care my loved one needed. This just didn't appear to be a good match for us.

They've done an absolutely fantastic job at Boylston Place, we couldn't be happier with it! The staff are all very communicative and helpful, and they've gone out of their way to make her feel comfortable here. It is a warm, welcoming community, and it really feels like home!

Boylston Place is a lovely, small assisted living program with on site nursing and various levels of support. I selected it for my mother based on its proximity to where I live, the intimate, small size of the building (less walking required), their variety of activities and the longevity of staff working there. To qualify ratings: admin turnover has been concerning, ranging from Exec Director to Financial Director to Head of Health/Nursing and Activities Director. The number and diversity of activities have decreased. To me this is the biggest issue. Unclear why staff turnover is occurring. Friendliness score high because of the everyday staff/aides who work very hard and are very amiable and attentive. My fear is that these folks working for an hourly wage don't get paid enough. As a current resident I do not recommend Wingate. We have been promised renovations for almost a year. The place is falling apart. The chairs in the dining room aren’t even safe. The common areas have dirty, out of date furniture. Wingate doesn’t seem to care about anything but the bottom line.
