Our aunt recently moved in to The Residence. We had some reservations at first. We had concerns on whether or not the staff would be able to handle the medical attention my aunt needs. For example our aunt has congestive heart failure and would need her weight taken frequently. Fast forward, we are exceptionally impressed with the knowledge and on point medical medical attention our aunt has received. They go above and beyond what is asked from them . I toured The Residence at Cherry Hill and it was a very nice facility and all of the staff were friendly. It was a smaller community and I was looking for something larger so there would be more to do and more people to interact with. It was a nice place but not the right fit for me.

For the most part, it's good. My mother is in a safe place, which is the most important thing. Hopefully she'll get more social interaction now that she's in assisted living. In memory care, that really wasn't the case. There were not many activities in memory care either. I'm hoping that will improve in assisted living as well. For the most part, everyone has been very nice, and they try to do the best for everyone, given that there are a lot of different personalities and ages and circumstances. The staff is really the highlight of this facility, they are just wonderful. The really make the residents feel very welcomed and at home. The room sizes at the facility are good, my loved one doesn't need much so it works out well for him. I would recommend The Residence at Cherry Hill to others looking.

The community is very active and tries hard to keep everyone active even during covid. I would like to see more communication from the staff. Based on my experience I would recommend this community to others.

In the beginning our loved one was in the assisted living and that experience would be about a three out of five, and now our loved one is in memory care and that experience so far is a five out of five. Despite our limited experience because of the restrictions our loved one is adjusting very nicely into the memory care.

My father at the time needed more redirection and reminders and they only had 2 levels of care here. It was assisted living and memory care and he was placed in memory care. The care was not what I considered appropriate for him. The residents were free to walk around the hallways and a lot of times there would be other people in his apartment. We like the facility very much, the facility is very clean. My mom made some friends there, and the staff is really nice. They even called and checked on her after we moved out. The coordinated with her dr. and in house therapy very well. We would come back if we needed to.

We toured a variety of places, we chose Atria Cherry Hill because of the proximity, the affordability, and I got more of a family/comfortable atmosphere here. The room sizes are small, especially after viewing other Atria facilities. The food here is pretty fresh and a good quality, they have a lot of variety. My favorite part about this community is that they assign each person a buddy upon getting there.
