My mother was scheduled to join the Residence at Cherry Hill. Sadly for her family ,happily for her, she died a few days before entering the residence. My mother died suddenly at age 100. She had lived alone until 2 months before her death. A couple of falls had her in a rehab facility until her demise, but she had recovered and was looking forward to Residence at Cherry Hill, although she expected to return to her home eventually. The Staff was very compassionate and extremely kind to my mother, but I do think they probably need to hire some extra folks as the Staff seemed to be overwhelmed at times. However, that's kind of the nature of the labor market and not necessarily the fault of the facility itself. The Residence was always very clean, which includes the resident rooms and common areas like the dinning room. My loved one was previously a resident at The Residence at Cherry Hill. I'm not sure if I would recommend this facility to others, based on our experience. My loved one was left unattended often in the dining area and fell multiple times. We never received a call or email expressing condolences from management.
All I can say is we were at another facility for a year and the resident is 100% better. The only thing I can't attest to is the activities because unfortunately my loved one doesn't participate in the activities and didn't at the other place either, but our experience here has been overall positive. We were desperate to get out of where we were because it was so awful. Everything looked good here and now that we've been here since the middle of December, it has been good.
Everything was a 5 except for dealing with their billing department and when I was having an issue with her medication management. We picked this community because of the woman, [name removed] that we met with, it does not have a confusing layout, the size of my loved ones apartment is great too, and it's close to my home.

Staff is very friendly and always available. My grandmother has felt comfortable here from the beginning.

We chose The Residence at Cherry Hill because it is close to my house, the facility is clean and staff are friendly, and also comparatively it was a lower price. There is also a good number of men and some Jewish residents.
