Overall I needed to give all categories a 2, but there were definitely care staff members who cared very much for their residents but simply were not provided sufficient resources and staffing. The residential rooms were very nice, but there was insufficient staffing and materials to engage residents. There were individuals who were quite caring but staff were not provided sufficient resources and training to optimize the residents memory care experience.

I feel if I had found a better facility, she might have lived a longer and happier existence. I would let others know that this is not a good place for people suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia.
I came on here to share my not so great experience and was going to give some tips on questions to ask if you are considering this facility. However, I started reading the other reviews and became angry as I read responses from the company that were outright untrue. The residents are not all able to ambulate on their own. My sister wanted to be in Rocky Hill and Ferry Park Told us she could have independent living there. She moved In and what was promised by [name removed] was not the case. I felt I was aging myself at a rapid rate just visiting her there. Nobody can walk on their own, it’s like a nursing home and the executive director told me after we moved her in there that they don’t have a lot of residents because they all passed from covid. Ours is a specialized assisted living community for seniors who want to live an independent lifestyle with the assurance of help with the activities of daily life and an active social environment around them. We are not a nursing facility and I am sorry that you may have gotten the wrong perception, but all of our residents are active and ambulatory on their own. We hope that you find accommodations that are more suitable for your sister and we wish you the best.
If you want your loved one to die from them to over medicate them, then send them here. They almost killed my loved one and I had to move my loved out of the community. My loved one seemed to have dirty nails. The rooms seemed cleaned for my loved one though. The nurses were nice and the main administrative staff wasn't nice.
